The good folks at Mixify just put together a pulse-pounding set featuring Twine, other Firepower shredders like Datsik, Funtcase, Protohype & Getter, and more!
“Spring Loaded” comes as an epic prelude to Twine’s forthcoming “Absolute EP.” The Florida bass fiend has been teasing us for a while now in fact, dropping the HUGE track “Count To Ten” last month as a free download. Now this mix shows us Twine in the company of his closest relatives in bass music. There are even two unidentified tracks by the man himself in the mix – could they be upcoming Absolute bangers? 
Millions Like Us checks in early with the hypnotic trap anthem “Flip,” styling some Keys ‘N Krates influence and originality all its own. We haven’t heard much from the UK pro-duo since the Dogblood remix last year, but they have a rather extensive discography uploaded to their official Soundcloud page. Have a listen after this mix – quality, underexposed music awaits!
Twine’s crazy collaboration with label-mate Minesweepa on “Destroy” is another notable mix moment. Straight off ‘Sweepa’s Epidemic EP, the track pays homage to the savage style honed by AFK, RUN DMT, and Funtcase. Both producers have recently become welcome additions to bass music’s most cutthroat arsenal.
Among all the great highlights on this tape, MUST DIE! steals the show with the first full release of his “Wild Out” remix by Borgore feat. Waka Flocka. Simply put, it is impossible to overlook how heavy this track hits. Sinister and ghastly, the drop resembles the Lavender Town Theme from the original Pokémon game (anyone?) with a grimy polish. The fine line of ludicrous and masterful has been reexamined once again by the young ATLien – very well done!
