Producers old and new are flocking to Claude VonStroke in order to remix his latest Urban Animal LP. Well, that’s not exactly true, but it’s not wrong either, because every producer on the project was hand-picked by VonStroke in order to give the remix album the same passion as he put into the LP.
Coming from a tech/deep house background, I love that VonStroke chose Photek and Krust, who actually “are responsible for getting the dirtybird bossman into production in the first place.” Also featured are Jimmy Edgar, Kill Frenzy, Doorly, Solomun, Tanner Ross, Justin Jay, SCNTST and Eprom. There’s even a remake of “Can’t Wait” by VonStroke himself.
