Love it or hate it, there’s no denying #SELFIE has been the hottest track of 2014. The Chainsmokers are two of the funniest cats in the game and what they were able to accomplish in terms of cultural viraity and relevance is absolutely incredible. We’ve seen our fair share of parody videos and remixes both good and tragically bad, but I’d like to bring a serious heater to the forefront. Tim Gunter has been on the sidelines for far too long. His unique takes on electronic music keep me going throughout the day and he knows his way around an 808 better than half of the Beatport charts. Accentuating the horns and adding some serious drumwork turns this one into a trap/dancehall/moombah hybrid that’s way too fresh for its own good. Add in some Missy Elliot vocals and slap a Snape on it and you’ve got yourself an early leader in best remix of the year. Pick it up below!
