With house music wobbling on the fence right now, a lot of artists are searching for some inspiration elsewhere. The future scene (funk, bass, garage etc.) is where more and more producers, like Ghost Club, are finding an expansive safe haven of creativity. The aformentioned name produced “Besotted,” a single from the Lifted Cuts Vol. II compilation brought forth by Lifted Contingency. An intoxicating wave of musical liquid pleases the deepest parts of the human soul in a wistful, yet invigorating way. Ghost Club makes his first appearance here, but I surely am not convinced it will be his last. With future beats like this, he has a chance to make a name for himself in a big way.
