Portland’s DeafMind, consisting of MyMind & HalfDeath, has released a new original called “Work It Out” through Red Cube Recordings this week. As someone who posts a good amount of the trap that ends up on this site, I have to say this is something both particular and stupendous. One thing I really can’t complain with at all is the drum & bass overtones the project has, but really all the elements are exemplary in every way possible. It’s just too OG and hip-hoppy, but the somewhat kooky approach is what gives this its singular nature. Right from the start it pumps energy into your body and the rest is history.
