Wick-it the Instigator has proven his remix chops time and time again and his official remix of ZZ Ward‘s “Blue Eyes Blind” is no different. The soul-pop singer recruited Wick-it to put his future bass spin on the track, which was originally produced by Ludwig Göransson of Childish Gambino, and the result is quite stunning.
Wick-it‘s remix flies right in the face of the big room house movement and verifies that a track can have a monumental presence without an over saturation of huge reverbs and percussive plucks. The track builds off of Wick-it‘s dubstep style half time beats and hits a drop that fills the frequency spectrum from hearty sub bass to layers of synths that completely fill the room.
The track has not yet been released to the public but if you are feeling Wick-it‘s unique flavor on this one, and we know that you are, than head over to the Hype Machine and “favorite” the remix (Link).
