Pyramyth – Pharaoh EP [DUSTLA]

pharoah

Today, Dustla released Pyramyth’s latest EP dubbed “Pharaoh.” It’s a 4-track dubstep EP featuring some unique, melodic, head-bang-inducing vibes.

The title track of the EP starts out with a square-wave melody and develops into a groovy mid-tempo drop. Pyramyth then switches it up and drops some glitch-hop style vibes then ends it all by merging all the styles he introduced earlier in the track into one last drop. Pretty diverse tune.

The other three tunes on the EP are “Gravity Gun,” “Taco Bass,” and “Miami Borderline Syndrome.” “Gravity Gun” starts out with a rolling bass-line as the drums and vocal samples kick in. This tune also features some groovy vibes, including everything from the rolling bass-line, to cleverly utilized dutch house-style synths.

Both “Taco Bass” and “Miami Borderline Syndrome” feature some low pitched vocal samples, giving the tunes a nice unique feel. Pyramyth slows things down a bit with “Miami Borderline Syndrome,” delivering an experimental hip hop/dubstep groovy banger — awesome tunes.

Purchase: Beatport

Great, diverse EP overall. Excited to see what Pyramyth has in store for us next. Be sure to share your thoughts down below.
