If you were to judge him strictly based on his following, you might call Fade a beginner or an amateur, but the power behind his sound speaks volumes towards the contrary. The heavy swinging synths set on top of a very dreamy drum pattern remind me of Flume or Wave Racer, but that is only in theory. Taking in the whole remix, Fade really shows off his own unique spin on the Future genre. Spinning around a song like Sovereign‘s ‘Just A Gent’ is no easy task, especially remixing it into a genre that is still so new and unexplored. To do it with such expert precision and skill? Hats off to Fade.
