It seems as though Xbox is stepping up their game; more specifically in dealing with multitasking and music. According to a Reddit AMA by BAADFooD, an employee of Microsoft, Xbox will be allowing for the functionality of playing music in the back of, let’s say, perusing the internet. One app that is being optimized for better use on Xbox One is Spotify. The aim is to get Spotify working on the gaming system exactly as it does on a desktop/laptop and smartphone. As someone who usually has music going while I play video games when I get the chance to, this is something that is actually very useful. There is currently no word if music can be played during game-play, but that fact will be known soon enough; for now, these developments should get gamers excited enough!
