Beats for Tots; Donate a Toy & Dance All Night For Free in NYC!

As fans involved in the scene, we know the power of the intoxicating melodies and smiling faces that surround us at events. We also know the power of this subculture to truly make a difference in the lives of others. That is why it is important to remember to give back to our communities in any way we can. And what better way to give back than by doing something we love?

The EDM community of the East Coast is ready to give back and share the love that constantly surrounds them at shows by throwing a charity event in NYC benefitting a child care center located in an underprivileged area of New Jersey.

There will be no set cover for the event Beats for Tots; however, attendees are asked to bring a toy, crayons, a book, or other relevant item to donate to the Forever Young Learning Center in Lindenwold, New Jersey, a struggling day care center for children. A representative from the school will also be present to collect monetary donations for those who would prefer to lend a helping hand in that manner, with 100% of the proceeds going towards school necessities.

In line with the commencement of festival season, there will also be an extra special raffle: one Electric Forest ticket which has been graciously donated to help the cause. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated back to the Forever Young Learning Center.

The “East Coast Rave Community”, comprised of over 3,000 Facebook members, has come together to support this event through donating their time and efforts to help bring it together. Beats will be provided by local, yet very talented DJs DeeCee, T4r4ntism, Joey Irv, and Webster Hall’s Bassment Saturday’s own resident DJ Subset.

Beats for Tots is a 21+ event and will be hosted at EVR NYC located on 54 W 39th Street in Manhattan this upcoming Thursday, April 10. Doors open at 8, with beats to last you throughout the night in the city that never sleeps.

The event is open to the public so be sure to check it out! What better way to spend your Thirsty Thursday than donating a toy, helping a child in need, and dancing your rave booty off? Click here for more info.
