The 29th annual International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) took place in Miami on Thursday, March 27th, during the 2014 Winter Music Conference. Gathering over two million votes from over 209 countries and territories, the IDMAs honors 57 categories, from artists and tracks to music labels and equipment.
Armin van Buuren, who was nominated for 10 categories, swept up 8 awards, and newcomer Martin Garrix won all 3 categories for which he was nominated. Avicii and Hardwell also took home a few awards, and Pioneer domineered in the electronics category with 7 wins.
