Edison Research and Triton Digital explain that 35% of Americans still use the radio to stay up to date with new music, and that closest online competitor, Youtube, only pulls 10% of overall music discovery. Word of mouth, at 21%, and Radio, at 35%, are examples at how slowly the country is transitioning into the online era of music discovery.
