Just when you think, “Man, The Chainsmokers just came out with an awesome remix a couple of weeks ago,” they go on and put up a whole new one for somebody else entirely. Alex and Drew put out so many remixes for so many prolific artists that it’s almost ridiculous. Even with an immensely popular original track called “#Selfie”, they get right back to the studio and push out music like a quality television series.
This time the duo remix Dave1 & P-Thugg (a.k.a. Chromeo) and their new single off their upcoming album White Women. The remix of “Jealous (I Ain’t With It)” is a progressive house jewel with a catchy beat to go with catchy vocals. Plus, the piano’s transformation into the building synth is surprising and intense to the unaware ear listening to this jam. For a song that Alex and Drew themselves say “could be as big as Daft Punk‘s ‘Get Lucky'”, they nailed another remix flawlessly. Uploaded recently to their soundcloud, “Jealous (I Ain’t With It) (The Chainsmokers Remix)” is currently in preview mode and a definite song to check out.
