Like a calculated missile strike, or a swift ninja assassination, the remixed version of Downlink’s The Launch is explosive yet completely artful. One can easily recognized the honed musically talent despite being such a wild and energetic genre. Featuring remixes by Figure, Protohype, Ajapai, and Rekoil, the EP also contain works by The Unik, Calvertron, Cenob1te, and Trei. With names such as those it’s easy for expectations to soar and rightly so, the new EP does not disappoint. One particular remix stands just a higher than the rest and that’s The Unik’s remix of Raw Power. Mixing fierce and lethal drums with a hardcore Electro-House punch, The Unik manages to keep the pace of the EP while delivering strict and precise strikes to your dome.
