We dread it, but we have to get through it every week and I aim to help it go by a little faster with a collection of favorable music. I was going to do five tracks, like usual, but I’m throwing in a sixth just because I think this is a special Wednesday. The artists involved in this downloads package are Visionaire, Paul Gilmore, Chemikal Recipe, Sebastian Carter, Drezo and Paul Loeb. Usually I compile tracks across the genre board but I’m sticking with the house division this time; luckily, there is room to work with a wide range of styles from Visionaire‘s progressive remix of “Five Hours” to Chemikal Recipe‘s disco single “Boogie Down.” I’m partial to the harder styles of house, but the last week or so has had a boom of lighter toned house jams.
