For 2014, Skrillex planned a series of “Takeovers” featuring 4 cities — San Francisco, Brooklyn, Amsterdam, and Barcelona. He was scheduled to play a number of times in each city and then move on to the next, for a total of 21 shows in 1 month. As of now (February 28th), Sonny has already performed at 20 of the 21 shows, with one more in Barcelona scheduled for tomorrow (March 1st). The “Takeovers” were quite the attraction and managed to sell out almost every single venue; after all, the tour also featured some ridiculously good talent suchas Craze, Nadastrom, Seven Lions, GTA, Alvin Risk, A$AP Rocky, and even Dave Chappelle!
