Afrojack has been busy in the studio producing chart topping hits like “The Spark” and “Ten Feet Tall,” as well as masochistically testing his patience while working with ex-fling Paris Hilton on “Good Time.” Today, we offer you something completely different from the Dutch superstar, a downtempo trip-hop influenced slow jam entitled “You and I,” which he produced for fellow Dutch singer Anouk.
This heartfelt ballad is a soulful nod to the R&B tracks of the 90’s and a welcomed change-up to all of the huge festival pumping tracks that have been dominating the airwaves.
Anouk‘s “You and I” is currently available through iTunes for abroad customers (link here). For those living stateside, the official video has been released in the meantime.
So what’s next for Anouk? Looks like a collaboration with Nicky Romero is in the works:
