If you’ve never heard of Luke Shay, then it’s about time you got acquainted with the the beautiful sounds of one of the most promising rising young stars in EDM. The Virginia-beach native has quickly made a name for himself with incredible productions from a multitude of genres ranging from deep house, electro, and even festival trap; Luke Shay does it all and better than most! Well Luke Shay is back, this time with an epic remix of Adventure Club’s hit single “Wonder” off their debut EP Calling All Heroes Pt. 1.
Luke Shay’s background in classical piano shines bright throughout the entire track, but especially in the intro. Featuring one of the most beautiful piano arrangements I’ve ever heard, the intro envelopes the listener in a dreamlike soundscape; however, once it drops, you might never want to wake up. If you’ve read some of my other posts you’ll know that I’m a huge basshead, but every once in a while there’s a house track that comes along and completely blows me away like “Alive” by Krewella and “Easy” by Porter Robinson & Mat Zo; I would definitely add Luke Shay’s remix of “Wonder” to that list. The way that the mezmerizing piano interludes seamlessly blend with the uplifting synths and epic melodies makes for one of the catchiest tunes I’ve heard in a long time! You can expect big things from Luke Shay in 2014.
