The British electronic group Clean Bandit have recently broken the UK record for most plays on Spotify, which was previously held by Daft Punk. “Get Lucky” got knocked off the #1 spot by the Jess Glynne featured single “Rather Be” that has collected close to three million streams since it’s release almost exactly a month ago. The song reached over 1.09 million plays in it’s first week alone. This success could translate into a lot of hype for Clean Bandit’s debut album New Eyes; the release date of which is May 12th of this year.
