A few days ago the Firepower Records head honcho, Datsik, sat down with West Michigan’s Fox News affiliate to talk about the exponential rise in popularity of the dubstep genre.
As Steve Miller Band‘s “Magic Carpet Ride” segues into the story, the anchors appear to be optimistic about the bit, but then after the package rolls, the female anchor awkwardly comments, “Ya [I like that kind of music], it gets me going.” This was an odd media outlet to find an interview on dubstep, although the clip does display some excellent live footage of Datsik, Protohype and Funtcase.
