A 20 year old Brit with no prior tracks on Soundcloud, David Emkay, essentially appeared out of thin air just a few days ago. His arrival was heralded in with an increasingly popular, however refreshing, new-age flute sound used in the drop of his original “Nation Of Sound,” available for free download. Though big-room house has become a tired genre, new sounds, artists and excellent production are helping to revive it. In this particular track a beautifully constructed melody and unusual song structure help to enhance its uniqueness. Be sure to peruse Emkay’s newly started Facebook page and Soundcloud because despite being a newcomer to the scene, his is a name you’ll want to get familiar with.
