British producer Thanator is a prime example of how little age means these days when producing. At only thirteen years-old, he’s making music like the best of them.
His latest release “Retro Revenge” is a very unique blend up jump-up, dubstep and electro. The drop alone is quite unexpected – instead of going straight into some deep wobbles, the young producer takes the artistic approach and holds back from a more complextro sound as he lets the silence between synths tell the story. The effect is strangely melodic and hypnotizing. At over six minutes long, it seems Thanator might have found the link between progressive house and dubstep.
