The Chainsmokers truly did hit the nail on the head with their new single, “#Selfie.” The track encompasses the epitome of every drunk girl (but not actually drunk because we all know we like to fake the intoxication for the sake of getting attention) out at a club. Like, come on, I know EVERY single girl can relate to this song. Let’s be honest, 97% of majority of females’ instagrams and snapchats are going to be selfies. Why? Because we can, as well as the fact that we enjoy staring at ourselves, and being reassured that everyone else is going to stare at pictures of us too. I mean seriously, what girl doesn’t love attention? I know my hand is raised high, at least.

The title may sound familiar to a lot of you, and I’m here to reassure you guys that you are, in fact, not going crazy. The Chainsmokers released “#Selfie” a couple months back, but ended up getting rid of the free download when Dim Mak agreed to release the track under the label, (just a little FYI for those of you who were out of the loop). But this is all besides the point. What really matters here is this incredible track that The Chainsmokers have released today, and an absolutely, may I add, on point, video to accompany the track, which you can check out below.
