Elliott Smith Goes EDM With Mike Doughty’s 3 Unreleased Collaborations

Tracking sessions of Elliott Smith from the late 90’s have just been released on three tracks from Mike Doughty‘s EDM project UUL. Previously unreleased and probably forgotten about, these recordings could have been lost, but instead they were utilized in some cool house tracks. All of which are free!

This is an interesting situation, not only because old recordings have been found, but because UUL is a new EDM project and for the gear heads out there; the recordings were done with a binaural head microphone. This is the head mold that has a mic in each ear to simulate first-person stereo. Pretty neat eh? Have a listen and let us know what you think!
