Up and coming 16 year old Arizona-based producer Savo hits us quite harshly with a banging drum ‘n’ bass beast with his remix of Astronaut’s “Rain.” Normally, I’m quite reluctant to listen to DnB because I’m not a big fan. But this is just something else. It’s crisp, clean, melodic, and filthy in all the right ways. I usually like to listen to the tune I’m reviewing whilst writing about it, and almost always, the music fades into the back of my head and simply becomes background music. With Savo’s remix, I literally had to pause it just to be able to think; that’s how good it is.
