Fresh off his first headlining show in Tallahassee, Florida; Lookas has generously given us a tasty big room trap remix of Hard Rock Sofa vs. Eva Shaw‘s “Get Down.” Lookas closed out 2013 with a top ten spot on Billboard’s “Next Big Sound” chart, and had his “Tsunami” remix with HLTR$KLTR was played out by Carnage, ƱZ, Kennedy Jones, Ookay, Heroes x Villains, Mayhem, Antiserum, and AKF, to name a few.
His “Get Down” remix is a great display of the talent embodied by this young Miami producer. The track has a very natural progression, with the first drop teasing at the second monumental melodic bass monster. Producers like Lookas are keeping the Big Room Trap genre alive and helping it evolve in a way that will keep the 808s kicking for many years to come.
