Back in action is the New Yorker Flaxo, who’s been grinding for the past three months. The breakthrough being his first completely original track “Erode” which features smooth vocals from Sophie Strauss. I don’t even know where to begin. This will be a song I come back to for the rest of my days. It’s eerie, dark, powerfully epic and just a downright monster of a single. The care that was put into the mix and all the details (the trippy white noise in the build, ugh) is obviously evident. Right when the horns and kick hit you can just feel the music’s hold strengthen. Spread this one around; it’s special. It’s also a free download, so there’s that too.
