Remix competitions are opportunities. Even just the chance of being heard by mass amounts of people make it worth it. But being heard is just the tip of the iceberg because of course everyone wants to win. That is the case for Horseplay, who are in the middle of the competition for Coone & Jim Ferren‘s single “150 BPM.” Horseplay’s rendition is how I wanted the original to be, not saying the original was poor, however. I feel the melody works too well in a trap setting and the additional touches from the duo make for a dope song.
