There has been a plethora of criticism surrounding the Trap genre over the past couple of years, mainly that it all sounds the same and it is uninspired. Insert frequent collaborators, Mayhem and Antiserum, who have been filling in the pages of the handbook for how trap is done right.
Their latest collab on Firepower Records is a two track single containing the songs “Hustle” and “Cry Baby” that successfully fuse a high energy blend of EDM and hip-hop. Both tracks have been steadily climbing the Beatport charts, so you know they will be be bouncing up and down the cut all year.
