UPDATE: The remix was done by both Diplo and Ookay. This isn’t a surprise to anyone but when it was released on iTunes and as of this morning no official credit had been given to Ookay.
Diplo rarely fails to amaze me when it comes to anything he releases, especially remixes. Typically they are incredibly creative in ways only a “random white dude” could bring to the original. However, this particular one seems to have missed that mark. By quite a bit. 
Getting right into it the intro isn’t bad but the vocal loop following just sounds out of place. The rest of the remix is pretty plain and the drop is overly simple. So simple that I’d say a producer of Diplo’s caliber could have produced this in their sleep. In all seriousness this one is a little disappointing but 2014 holds a lot of quality Diplo music including the much anticipated release of some tracks with Skrillex under their side project, Jack U.

Diplo’s on another level, the drop fucking slams. He won’t do the same formula for every song cuz he gets bored of the same ol. Respect this dude, solid mix.
