Martin Garrix, the 17 year old dutch producer behind the infamous track “Animals,” is quite on his way after breaking Beatport records by becoming the youngest person to hold the #1 spot on the site’s chart. Now, the 17-year-old star is helping out Oliver Heldens, an 18 year old producer from the netherlands, by giving him a spot as one of the remixers of “Animals.” Heldens matches the track’s festival-style appeal, but takes it a bit deeper. The remix, however, doesn’t capitalize the original’s feel as much as it should; leaving out the original’s melody all together. Nevertheless, Heldens continues his ”Heldeep” style, transforming Garrix’s big-room hit into an underground banger with heavy, yet up-tempo, deep house vibes.

How is this even a remix? I hear basically nothing from the original track… I feel like the track wouldn’t have this much interest if it didn’t have the animals name on it. Not saying it’s bad or anything but… a remix?
Sounds pretty tight, a little bit different to the usual remix’s bootleg. (Made one myself) Credit to the guy for putting another spin on it!
