The San Francisco trio, The M Machine, have just announced their upcoming Metropolis tour that will cross North America starting later this month. Ten dates are set so far in places like DC, Orlando, Austin and of course their home city. More dates are going to be added to the tour that will showcase not only their live performance (with DJ sets in certain locations), but it will feature their new virtual “M” visuals.
This new setup will be similar to the previous “M”, however video and 3D elements will be added along with a zoom function that will allow for more control over the visual aspects. Created using TouchDesigner, this technology is pushing the boundaries of performance gear to create a unique experience for the audience.
