Boston’s Berklee College of Music has consistently been known as one of the top music colleges in the world. While boasting alumni such as Rivers Cuomo (Weezer), Quincy Jones, Passion Pit, and Imagine Dragons, the college has been a New England hub for expanding creativity and meeting place for innovative collaborations.
Though a partnership with Coursera, Berklee is offering a free 6 week course designed to enlighten eager minds on the ins and outs of producing music at home. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone that is looking to turn that dusty storage closet into a home studio, but doesn’t know where to start.
The course will be taught by Berklee’s own Loudon Stearns and starts January 27th so make sure you sign up in time. You can watch an introduction to the course below, and check out the full overview here.
