Dirty. That’s one of the words that comes to mind after listening to Covex‘s Introduction EP that features two drum & bass style tracks. Better than the fact that it is drum & bass is the fact that the EP is free, with possibility for donation if any of you feel like supporting the artist more than just on a social media basis.
“None of You Left” is a grimy neuro banger that transitions from a downtempo glitch sound to a more energetic breakbeat style by the end of the song. Next comes “The Nightmare Begins” which continues with the neuro overtones; the fresh yet grimy sound will make you wonder how in the hell a 16 year old kid made something like this. Just starting out, I can’t imagine what Covex has in store for the future. If you call yourself a bass head then you need to get this debut EP.
