UMF’s sister, UME, also known as Ultimate Music Experience, located at the beautiful Schlitterbahn Water Park in Texas is going on its fourth year infecting and expanding the sweet beats and the festival experience to thousands of fans. Ultimate Music Experience is scheduled for March 13-15, 2014 with acts from Zeds Dead to Boys Noize, Carnage, Tiesto and many more that will be featured throughout this thrilling 3 day weekend.
Billboard emphasized UME’s expansion stating: 
“According to Paul Magee of Global Groove Presents, which is producing UME in partnership with Disco Donnie Presents and Sugar Society, attendance this year is anticipated to hit 45,000, or 15,000 a day.”
Even though this still may be a smaller event than most festivals like EDC and UMF, UME is slowly expanding to its full potential while still maintaining the intimate festival vibe. As Magee said to Billboard, UME festival is “one of the more up-close-and-personal.”

Ultra Music Festival and UME are in no way related. Ultra is held as part of Miami music week and is it’s own entity (not in any way related to DDP/Global Groove/Sugar Society.) These two festival are also vastly different in both size and scope.
