After reporting on Tiesto’s plans to charge extortionate amounts of money to see him perform, it was a little disheartening to see some people sticking up for this unreasonable elitism. Of course it was unfair to single the Dutch megastar out but it appears that we may be on to something.
After being ignored by the VIPs in the front row at his Mansion NYD set in Miami, Deadmau5 took to Twitter and just like everyone else, vented his frustrations:

He took to his website and complained further:
“I fucking reamed out my agent for making me deal with that,” he wrote. “Putting fans in the back and trust fund kids up front is fucking stupid as fuck.” As a result, he “won’t be playing any more Miami clubs.” Instead, Zimmerman said, “I’d rather rent a venue / parking lot / beachfront and fuckin’ do it right.”
Finally he had one last dig at what he thought about promoters:
“9 times out of 10, some asshole promoter is taking advantage of [his] brand/show to sell the fuck out of a show.”
So how will Deadmau5 show ’em all and put on a show for everybody?
“We’re trying our best to shoot for fall for the ‘big ass show’ project we’ve been working on for the past 2 years, but ABSOLUTELY worst case… spring 2015.”
Well, good luck to him, the ‘trust-fund’ kids of Miami must be so cross. But of course, it would be difficult to put up with the likes of this:

This just proves that there is a reason to his personality. Yeah sure he comes off as a dick sometimes but if you read between the lines and look at what he rants about, he really brings to light a lot of bullshit that is oblivious to the rest of the scene. Deadmua5 was one of the first dance music acts I really got into so it’s really refreshing to see that he thinks about his fans and actually appreciates them. Mind you, he even had ticket prices changed to be more affordable for his birthday event? Not entirely sure what it was but he thought the tickets were way too overpriced and got them reduced. Keep on truckin’ Mr. Mau5!

ok so let me get this straight.. he is bitching about prices ? his booking fee is 225k. ok so lets do the math kids 225k / 1400 people which is max capacity equals over $150 a ticket. soo who is really to blame? And that is just to break even people.. not make a profit.. guy is full of shit..
