Electronic music culture conglomerate SFX has continued it’s swift manifest EDM by purchasing three quarters of Europe’s leading ticketing company, PayLogic. The $22 million dollar ticketing service has offices in Amsterdam, Groingen, Berlin, and Antwerp has recently taken it’s business stateside by administering the initial ticket release for TomorrowWorld in Atlanta, Georgia. Paylogic has also been responsible for ticket distribution for popular SFX events Sensation, Mysteryland, Q-Dance, and Tomorrowland.
“Paylogic has consistently proven its ability to handle unprecedented ticket requests,” said Robert F.X. Sillerman, Chairman and CEO of SFX Entertainment. “This kind of technical skill will be invaluable to us as we connect the millions and millions of EMC fans to the content and events they love, and to each other through integrated social media.”
This latest acquisition is the cherry on top of a long list of recent purchases made by SFX including: Beatport, Disco Productions, Huka Entertainment, ID&T (75%), Life in Color, Miami Marketing Group, Voodoo Experience, i-Motion (60%), and Made Event.
