‘Rollerskating Through The Universe’ with Diplo’s Two Hour Mix

BBC1

Diplo, the man who empowers everyone to express themselves, is one of the best producers around and also well known for his weekly radio shows on BBC Radio 1 called ‘Diplo and Friends’. This week, he introduced a different style to his usual ‘Diplo and Friends’ mix, stating, “I’m gonna call this my rollerskating rink mix, ’cause it goes through everything like funk, early hip-hop, golden era hip-hop, ’90s hip-hop, all the way to Southern hip-hop I’d hear in the clubs.”

Diplo brings some of the original hip-hop tracks from 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Mobb Deep, Salt-N-Pepa, Mos Def, OutKast, and even Beastie Boys. This is just some of the many artists that he introduces to his mix. Talk about some good old school jams right? Listen to his rollerskating rink mix right here and let us know what you think!
