With the release date of “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” rapidly approaching, up-and-comer Kygo has remixed one of the soundtrack’s brilliant tracks, “I See Fire” by Ed Sheeran. Keeping the catchy original melody, Kygo trades acoustic guitar for the myriad of soft Caribbean instrumentals that have come to define his signature sound. Weaving in Sheeran’s vocals, he also speeds up the rhythm to create an uplifting, multi-layered song that will give you goosebumps.
As the weather gets colder, let’s hope that Kygo will continue to release these tropical tunes to get us through the winter months. As with most of his songs, Kygo is offering this track for free download via his Soundcloud page. Listen below!
