In the world of bass music, few can rival the momentous influence and position Dub Police kingpin, Caspa, has withheld within the genre for nearly the last decade. During his seasoned tenure atop the dubstep scene, both his own creative vision and his imprint have become notorious for continually shaping and championing the best and brightest in dubstep and heavy bass.
Earlier today and after much anticipation, Dub Police released their compilation album, ‘Past Present Future’ which seeks to highlight and celebrate the progression of the label and its talented roster since its inception in 2004. Filled to the brim with 45 records representing the extensive sound and style of the past, present and future of bass; this 3 disc compilation documents the finest the genre has to offer. Raw, organic, and profoundly heavy, ‘Past Present Future’ speaks volumes to the relevance and perserverance of a genre that so many view as limping on its last leg of life.
