The crew from Kannibalen Records conjure up another mind-blowing release with Apashe‘s Black Mythology EP. For one half of the project Dabin, Kai Wachi and vocalist Ariane Zita join the Belgian on “Foresaken.” This one just screams anthem; Ariane’s palatable performance and a flawless trap instrumental that is ridden with high-octane energy and bass define the song.
For the other half of Apashe’s EP he takes the solo route on “Black Gold” which is cloaked in the dark sound that is prevalent from Kannibalen. He keeps things more trappy and less dubstep influenced; which ended in a fresh composition seemingly derived from the hood. Apashe continues to dominate the bass music realm that Black Mythology is very much a part of.
It seems every time one of these producers come out with something, let alone create something together, the boundaries for bass music are further extended. Whether it’s musicality, sound design or other technical details, these guys always bring the best.
