Here is yet another fabulous ‘Toolroom Knights’ compilation mix under Toolroom Records, this time welcoming tech house guru’s, Prok & Fitch. The duo takes you into the journey through their sound, including original productions like ‘Dope Drop’ and additional tracks from Filterheads, My Digital Enemy, Mark Knight, and Jay Lumen. This album is yet another gem to Toolroom Records’ list of amazing compilations of the best sounds that they are well known to represent.
Prok & Kitch had an exclusive interview with When We Dip to share a little inside scoop about this album:
‘Were very excited about this one, It was really important to us this the Album flowed and was a true reflection of our sound. Our aim was to get as many quality exclusive tracks as possible, whilst trying to avoid recycling old Material. Was a great excuse to lock ourselves in the Studio and get loads of new tracks finished.’
Over the years these guys have transformed and grown immensely as artists, working with incredible producers like Todd Terry, Laidback Luke, Moby, Kraak & Smaak, and many more. They know how to grasp your attention and snare you in right away as every track in this mix is fluid, moving together as a unit. No doubt Prok & Fitch can bring not just quantity but also quality to the album. I can’t decide what my favorite track is, but I placed the two tracks below that stood out to me most.
