Jee Production’s Jerome Isma-Ae collaborates with Justin Michaels and vocalist Novi on a minimalist classic with “Awaken.” I cannot get enough of this; Armada Music made a hell of a pickup that will serve them very well in the future. Now too, of course.
The kick-off of their partnership resulted in a dark, progressive instrumental layered with Novi‘s delightful vocals. The powerful bassline leaves the listener awestruck; the triplet pattern will be etched in your mind forever. It reminds of “Superliminal” by Deadmau5, which I love as well. The energy packed into the the simple rhythms is astonishing and crowds feed off of tracks like this. The German Jerome and his colleagues deliver huge with the memorable “Awaken.”
