KOAN Sound & Asa Release ‘Influences’ Mix

Koan Sound - Sanctuary EP - Your EDM

If you’re anything like us, you would have absolutely enjoyed one of the finest EPs of 2013: Sanctuary. A refined, lush and almost Hybrid take on the wobble certainly had a lot us talking.

For this week’s Mixmag’s In Session, the group have put together a mix that reveals the influences that went into the making of the EP. You can expect everything from Sigur Rós to Burial to Aphex Twin and Air, so maybe you’ll be getting yourself into something you’re not quite used to.

All in all it’s a great and insightful mix, with plenty of tracks that ascertains the quality of Sanctuary. They’re at the top of their game and who knows what else KOAN Sound & Asa will have in store:
