Shazam has become one of the most popular apps that enables many music junkies to discover unheard or unfamiliar tracks in just a few seconds with as simple as a finger tap on your iPhone screen. Amazing, right? Even better, Hardwell’s new single, ‘Dare You’, features one of the most talented and well-known songwriters around, Matthew Koma, who has produced over dozens of songs: ‘Calling (Lose My Mind),’ “Clarity,’ ‘Years,’ just to name a few.
Hardwell challenges all you app-savy fans to Shazam the 20 second clip on his YouTube page, which will unlock the full single on your Shazam app, allowing you to then exclusively stream the track. This makes Hardwell the first artist to ever release music exclusively through this app, possibly starting a precedent others will soon follow. 
Furthermore, to celebrate this release Pete Tong will premiere ‘Dare You’ on BBC Radio 1 DJ this Friday (November 8), to give fans a sneak a peak of this highly anticipated single. Turn up your speakers on Friday to hear ‘Dare You.’ and stay tuned for the official release on Beatport November 13th!
