Waka Flocka Has Found His “Niche”, And He’s Loving It

Waka Flocka is having career defining year. Breaking into a new genre, a huge tour with Steve Aoki, Borgore, Pharell, and two new albums, Flockaveli 2 and Psychotics, has aroused everyone’s attention. While there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the EDM album that Flocka is working on, there are some facts we know:

1. The album is going to feature production from: Skrillex, Diplo and, Flosstradamus. With other surprise guests being kept a secret until it’s released.

2. With the release of “Wild Out” we might have gotten a taste of how the ‘Psychotics’ is going to sound. We’ll be getting another preview when Aoki drops his new collab with Flocka, ‘Rage‘.

3. In a recent interview that he had with Do Androids Dance he claimed “I don’t have a specific style…I’m just doin’ me”. We could be getting a huge variety of new music in the coming months.

4. Psychotics will be dropping after Flockaveli 2, which has a targeted first quarter 2014 launch.

In the same interview I mentioned above, Flocka expressed “This is my niche” (referring to the EDM scene). I can say from personal experience when I saw him perform with Aoki and Borgore in Dallas, there was a lot of energy and it was a very entertaining show. I’m excited for what Psychotics will offer, and of course we’ll keep you updated about anymore collaborators or release dates!
