The United Kingdom’s own Brown and Gammon teamed up with Sierra Kay for an international hit with “West Coast“. The track is available for pre-order on iTunes and will be released November 11th via Circus Records, founded by Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, DJ Swan-E and Earl Falconer. Being from the west coast, I think I have a fair opinion in stating whether or not this track embodies this section of the globe; and I must say, they surpass anything I could have conceived of to represent my homeland.
First off, the feel good vibes are off the charts right from the get go, whether it’s due to feeling the love from the 8-bit inspired instrumental or Sierra’s loveable vocal. Brown and Gammon manifest the chill attitude of the West Coast in their laid-back approach to the usually wild and ferocious genre. That does not mean this track doesn’t pack any energy; for when the drop hits you will feel nothing but the blissful desire to start moving to the music. The collection of sounds that went into this production are superlative and I would expect nothing less from Brown and Gammon. Topped with Sierra Kay; West coast perfection.
