The future of music lies on the shoulders of up and coming producers who use their creative and innovative ideas to pave the way for tomorrow, much like UC Berkeley producer Kaptain has been doing for the past year. Whether it was remix of Zedd and Hayley William‘s “Stay The Night”, his latest EP Blue Dreams, or other previous works, Kaptain always brings something fresh to the table; this has gotten him support from the likes of Candyland, Bastille, Luminox, Kathaus Records, Moombroton and Moombahton.net.
His mid-tempo creations are the core of his work, but his talents have prompted such creations as his spacey house collaboration with vocalist Sachi Holla on “Not The Only One” and his dubstep/drum n bass masterpiece “Radiate.” Both tracks accompany “Blue Dreams” to construct his full EP that is downloadable for free. Big things are on the way for Kaptain, so be on the lookout for what is to come in the future!
