Krewella Announce ‘Live For The Night’ Remix Pack, Debut Pegboard Nerds Remix

krew-liveforthenight-youredm

Earlier today, Krewella took to twitter to spill the details on their highly anticipated “Live For The Night” remix pack:

When the Krew released “Live For The Night” as the first single off of Get Wet, I knew it had the potential for some seriously epic remixes much like classic tracks such as “Alive” and “Come And Get It,” so it’s nice to finally know which producers have been deemed worthy of the task. Previews of the remixes done by Dash BerlinW&W, and Deniz Koyu & Danny Avila have already been out for a while and I have to say I wasn’t really all that impressed by any of them.

However, as a bass head, I’m definitely more excited for what Xilent and Pegboard Nerds have in store for us. Well the Pegboard Nerds remix just debuted on UKF Dubstep and it’s exactly the kind of heavy remix I’ve been dreaming of ever since this I first heard “Live For The Night.” Whenever Krewella and Pegboard Nerds work together, they always end up with a truly next-level production (see: “This Is Not The End” and their remix of “Alive”) and this remix is no different. Pegboard Nerds took this one and turned in into an absolutely filthy dubstep banger with dashes of trap and hardstyle influences that is sure leave dance floors across the country in ruins.

Xilent, on the other hand, brings a more melodic, neurofunk-influenced style of bass music to the table, so I’m really interested to see how his signature sound blends with Yasmine and Jahan‘s powerhouse vocals. There are no clips of this remix yet, but check out this incredible remix he did of Ellie Goulding‘s “Figure 8″ for a better sense of what I’m talking about:

I know the wait for this remix pack has been long and arduous but we’ve already made it this far so what’s one more week? Which remix are you most excited for? Let us know in the comments!
