In an unfortunate sequence of recent events, British producer Funkagenda has announced that he will be taking a step back from touring for the remainder of the year. I’m sure that we here at Your EDM aren’t the only ones wishing Funkagenda the best, as he makes his decision to cut back on touring and take care of things. Earlier this morning the following post was found on his facebook account:
Hi guys. A lot of you are familiar with the fact that I suffer from depression as I’ve spoken about it a few times over the last year or so. In accordance with advise from my doctors, my management, agents + we have decided that I should take a brief hiatus from touring. It will allow me to address the issue of my depression + also allow me to make some awesome new music for you all to enjoy. This will mean I have to reappoint a few shows until after Xmas. I’d like you all to know that, missing shows is not something I take lightly and I wouldn’t be doing it if it wasn’t absolutely necessary.
During the interim I will be releasing a few exclusive mixes for you to enjoy + possibly a free track. And of course I will be on my social media intermittently to answer questions, reply to fans etc.
I hope you all realize that this is unavoidable + I’ll see you back on the decks nearer Xmas time…
